The Coathangers have been hard at work writing brand spankin' new songs...

...for their upcoming 12"! The new jams include "Cheap Cheap" (which takes the listener to the country side of the band), "Toomerhead", "143", "Killdozer", "Why Can't A Boy Love A Boy", and a remake of their hit "Nestle in my Boobies" entitled "Dancin' with my Cutie"! The band hopes to release the 12" by the end of the year, if not sooner...

The Coathangers have also been hard at work piecing their latest tour together for this summer. The tour will be a twenty-something date including not just the east coast but also the west coast! It will be their first nation wide tour since the bands inception...

Also, the band was lucky enough to be a part of the Rock Band revolution... the girls were one of many bands featured to promote the new game... see a video of it HERE

Along the same vein the girls were also on Vice Records VBS TV series "Practice Space". See this video HERE

Last but certainly not least the ladies of leisure have made all new merchandise. All of the t-shirts are one of a kind including all of the girls individual artwork... at 5 bucks a piece you have no reason not to own one... Included in the new merch will be beer koozies, headbands, etc etc...

This past SXSW was a blast for the Coathangers as they were asked to play a couple of "real" shows this time around... The CH played a short yet oh so sweet show at Miss Bea's for the infamous promoter Todd P, followed by two shows the following Saturday at Waterloo's "Mess With Texas" show as well as the Rob's House Records showcase at Beerland. Below are a few reviews of the debauchery...
